EXPERIENCE
I have a 22-year track record as a public prosecutor.
Since serving as the District Attorney for Placer County, I have made several improvements and launched a number of impactful programs:
- Placer County District Attorney’s Office Citizen’s Academy
- Placer County District Attorney’s Office Speaker Panel
- Working group to collaborate on solutions for those who are homeless and fall into the criminal justice system
- Community Outreach Unit to engage the community and increase trust and transparency in the District Attorney’s office
Prior to serving as Placer County’s District Attorney, I worked for the Sacramento District Attorney’s office for 15 years where I held multiple roles, most recently as an Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney. I began my work as a public prosecutor as a Deputy District Attorney for the Riverside County District Attorney’s office.
I also teach courses for law enforcement and other prosecutors in professional and academic settings.

• Tried felony cases including home-invasion robberies, car-jacking, drug sales, and attempted murders
